Outside of dealing damage, Samael is also a strong debuffer with its Masukunda skill which lowers the enemy team’s Hit and Evasion. Samael can also grant your own party immunity against stat debuffs using Dekunda, giving the Persona even more flexibility in battle.

There's no separate dungeons to explore within P3, just different Persona 3 Reload Gameplay levels of Tartarus that open up further after each major boss fight.
The Item menu will move useful items to the top of the list depending on the situation, such as Revival Beads if a party member is KO'd and Agilao Gems if a shadow is weak to fire.
